As part of the more than 30 social programs in charge of the Government of Mexico, the objective of the Welfare Pension is to benefit millions of older adults throughout the country, with the delivery of economic support that is deposited bimonthly and that from the first minute of 2023 will enjoy an increase of 25 percent in their first payment, that here we tell you how much it will be.

Although adults over 65 are waiting for the first payment that we will tell you here how much it will be and in the process of banking their Welfare Pension cards nationwide, the program does not stop and continues to register more and more affiliates of any of the 32 entities of the Aztec territory, Well, the goal is that they have enough money to cover their needs.

Given this and due to the gradual increase promised by the Federal Government, as of this January 1, the elderly affiliated to the Welfare Pension program will enjoy an increase of 25 percent, so it will now go from 3 thousand 850 pesos they received in the last part of 2022 to 4 thousand 912.50 bimonthly.

Although the date on which the first payment of 2023 will fall has not been officially announced, unofficially there is talk that the money will be deposited in the cards of the millions of older adults in the first days of January, which would correspond to the first two months of 2023 and that it will be 4 thousand 912.50 pesos, already with the promised 25 percent increase.

If you have just reached the age to apply for your Welfare Pension or you are older and have not yet registered, remember that you can register in any of the modules by presenting a valid official identification (voter credential, professional license, booklet, passport, INAPAM credential), CURP (recent), proof of address no longer than six months (water, property, gas, electricity or telephone), birth certificate and contact telephone number.
