The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, assured that, if he wins the Presidency again in 2024, he will work to develop a kind of Iron Dome, that is, a new defense system that allows the country to defend itself from hypersonic missiles.
Through his social network Truth Social, the Republican considered that it is irresponsible to talk about a Third World War with the conflict in Ukraine in the background, because, in his opinion, many nuclear weapons are at stake that could be used and thereby cause irreversible damage, as happened, at the time, during the First and Second World Wars.

Given this scenario, Donald Trump promised that, if he reaches the White House again, he will seek that the United States has a new defense system similar to the Iron Dome, like the one Israel possesses.
The tycoon took the opportunity to criticize the management of President Joe Biden, whom he blamed for making decisions that endanger the world, something that, according to Trump, never happened in his term, which took place between 2017 and 2020.
"With Joe Biden, the world has become much more dangerous and there is no greater danger than the deadly threat of nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles, missiles that can surpass, many times, the speed of sound," the former president said.
A day earlier, on January 27, Trump said that if he were president of the United States, he would end the conflict in Ukraine within 24 hours.
He also warned that the Biden Administration's plan to send 31 M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine could trigger Russia's use of "nuclear weapons."
