Víctor Manuel, brother of Sara Cecilia Osnaya a 31-year-old woman reported missing on December 15 and found dead a couple of days later at her home, was arrested for femicide.

The young woman disappeared four days after turning 31 years old, apparently leaving her home in Naucalpan de Juárez, Edomex, in the direction of downtown Mexico City to make purchases. It is unknown what happened along the way.

According to police sources, Victor Manuel was arrested after agents went to his home to conduct a diligence in the search for his sister Sara.

According to this information, the brother himself reported the disappearance of his relative Sara to the Mexican authorities, his relatives and the girl's fiancé.

On the day of the discovery of the body, the agents of the Mexican Prosecutor's Office found Víctor Manuel in the building where they found Sarita's body, as her friends and family affectionately called her.

According to these sources, the young woman's brother acknowledged the femicide due to alleged family differences.

The subject is detained in the Barrientos Prison in Tlalnepantla, to determine his legal situation, since he would face charges of disappearance and femicide.

So far, the Prosecutor's Office has not given more details about the case. Meanwhile, Sara's family and her fiancé did not want to give more information, saying they do not want to hinder the investigations.
